Rolling a Character for Fast Leveling in World of Warcraft

As the biggest MMORPG online, World of Warcraft has millions of people logging on to play each day.

If you are new to the game, there is a good chance that you want to get to the end game content quickly.  There are multiple ways to go about WoW fast leveling.

Strategy guides, mods, and questing as a group are all ways.  However, you’ll be most successful at WoW fast leveling by rolling the right character.

Hunters

When it comes to WoW fast leveling, one of the best characters to roll is a hunter.  Put all of your talents into beast mastery and plow through quests as quickly as possible.

The reason this method is effective is that your pet can act as a second player. So you get the benefit of having someone else helping you to kill mobs, but you don’t have to share experience like you would if you joined a group.  Having a pet also allows you to tackle harder mobs above your level, allowing you to earn experience and gold quickly.

The biggest downside to rolling this character is that hunters abound, and at the higher levels it could be difficult to get into groups.  Plus doing WoW fast leveling on this character may not help you earn much gold, so you’ll be stuck farming later on in the game for money.

Warlocks

Warlocks, like hunters, have the benefit of being able to use a pet to help them kill things.  The voidwalker demon is learned fairly early on, and can do some great damage for you.
Affliction warlocks can also do a ton of damage from a distance, allowing them to kill mobs without taking much damage themselves, despite only being able to wear cloth armor.

Warlocks are great if you plan on doing a lot of PVP action in the battlegrounds later on, as they can cast damage over time spells and run away, earning killing blows without being next to the member of the opposing faction.

Druids

Druids may not be the best character when it comes to WoW fast leveling, but they can be the most fun.  Who doesn’t love the ability to turn into a cat or a bear?
The great thing about druids is their versatility, allowing them to play the role of nearly any function in a group setting.  Druids can heal, do damage with both up close combat and spells, and in some instances can even act as a tank.

If you plan on working with a group, this is a great way to do WoW fast leveling.  And thanks to the dual spec option recently added to the game, you no longer have to choose between being a healer and doing awesome damage – simply pay the gold and you can have the ability to do either.

Rogues

If you like to solo, rogues do have the ability to have WoW fast leveling.  By concentrating on your killing talents, you can create a character that is pure damage per second.  This allows you to kill enemies in seconds, rapidly gaining experience and completing quests.

They also do well in a PVP setting, with the ability to stealth and hide as needed to sneak up on opponents.  The only downside to rogues is that it may be harder to get into groups at higher levels.  On some servers, rogues have the reputation of being sneaky or being “ninjas”, causing some players to avoid inviting them along for group quests.

All characters

When it comes to WoW fast leveling, there are some tips that all characters can follow:

• Do quests that are your level.  These will show up as yellow or green in your quest log.  Orange and red quests may be too hard to complete alone, slowing you up, and gray quests are so simple and beneath you that they will not award much experience.

• Buy or make big bags.  The premise is simple – the bigger the bags you have, the less often you’ll have to head back into town to empty them, and the longer you can stay out questing.

• Take advantage of being in town.  When a quest takes you back to town, use that to your advantage.  Take a moment to empty bags, repair your armor, and replenish any food or drink that you might need.  You don’t want to head all the way back to the wilderness only to find your armor is down to 10% or you are out of bottled water.
