World of Warcraft Strategy
Welcome to our World of Warcraft strategy selection!
We’ve set up this website to share our passion for WoW, and hopefully help you out with those little hints & tips that can make all the difference.
Whether you are a brand new player or a long time player, your World of Warcraft strategy will depend a lot on what you are looking to get out of the game.
Some people enjoy the game just for the sake of exploring. Others are in it to power level up to the end game content. And some are in it strictly to make money. Here is how you can find your World of Warcraft strategy.
In it for fun
This is generally the category for the casual player. You enjoy exploring Azeroth, chatting with members of your guild, and don’t get too stressed out when you don’t have gold to buy your epic mount immediately. You may or may not play every day, and of all the WoW players you’re the most likely to remember that WoW is, after all, a game.
There is no specific World of Warcraft strategy for this player type. Find a character you love, and just start playing. Chances are you may change professions half a dozen times and maybe will start half a dozen characters looking for your perfect match. One recommendation is to find another casual guild. That way you can have someone to talk with and complete quests together even if you aren’t in a hurry to level.

In it for PVP
While new patch notes are threatening to put the “twink” into extinction, some players are all about the PVP, or player versus player, action of the game. A “twink” is a character that stops at a certain level of the game, generally one of the levels ending in “9”, such as 19, 49, 69, etc.
Their goal is to gain the best possible gear they can with the best possible enchants and gems that are applicable, then head to the battlegrounds and see how many characters of the opposing faction they can take out.
If this sounds like your World of Warcraft strategy, then you will likely need a second character to help fund your PVP experience. A higher level character will be able to either craft or buy the gear you need to keep you reigning supreme. Alternatively, PVP guilds and twink guilds can help you achieve your goals.
In it to level
A third World of Warcraft strategy is to get to the end of the game as soon as possible. Besides the bragging rights of having completed the leveling process in a set amount of hours, this opens certain quests, dungeons, and raids that are only available to the top levels.
There are numerous World of Warcraft strategy guides available online that can tell you the fastest and easiest way to level up. While this may take some research before you start playing, it will allow you to move through the game as quickly as possible.
Several mods are available to make your questing experience easier. And since WoW is a multi-player game, teaming up with a leveling guild or other players interested in leveling up quickly can make the experience go faster.
In it for the gold
Sometimes, your World of Warcraft strategy is to make as much gold as you can, as fast as you can. Maybe you need to upgrade the gear on your twink, get money to level up a profession, or are saving for that epic flyer and cold weather flying training. For most people, playing WoW for gold is a temporary scenario to help them achieve a goal.

Like leveling guides, there are many World of Warcraft strategy guides out there that can offer you tips and secrets on how to make money fast. Keep in mind that more often than not this includes several hours of “farming” – or basically killing the same set of mobs over and over again, either because they drop money or have a high drop rate of materials and other items with resale value.
